Published by Today's News Herald on Apr. 30, 2025 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Donald Emory Moore was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minn. Served our country in the United States Air Force. Don worked for the State of Colorado and moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1984. While living in Lake Havasu Don spent his retirement years piloting out of the Lake Havasu Airport, playing tennis and exploring all the countryside had to offer. His favorite post-retirement job was substitute teaching for the Lake Havasu City School District. After 30 years in Lake Havasu, Don and his wife, Marcia relocated to St. George, Utah where they were living when he died a mere 8 days after his 95th birthday. Don is survived by his loving wife Marcia. Three sons, Ron, Dan and Terry as well as his stepson Dan Johnson and four grandsons. He was preceded in death by his stepson, Rick Johnson as well as his be-loved grandson Ryan Moore. As per Don's wishes, there will be no services. |
