Eliza Lee Kelly Services for Mrs. Eliza Lee Kelly, who died in a local hospital Feb. 6, were held Tuesday, afternoon, in Ragsdale Chapel in the Valley, with the Rev. L. J. Dunbar officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park. A resident of 1644 W. Cocopah, Mrs. Kelly had lived here 16 years, coming to Phoenix from Idabelle, Oklahoma. She was born 47 years ago in Houston, Mississippi. She was an active member of St. John Baptist Church. Survivors are a son, Kenneth Goodman of Phoenix; four sisters, Johnny Lattimore, LaMore, California, Mary Lawrence, Wichita Falls, Texas. Irene Griffin, Idabell, and Mattie Williams, Phoenix; four brothers, McKinley Griffin, Phoenix, Ariz., Arthur Griffin, Ft. Worth, Ben Griffin, La Mora, and Tom, Detroit; and a nephew, Lemon McGuire, Phoenix. Arizona Sun February 14, 1957 |
