Clifford Milton "Cliff" Hodges, 95, of Casa Grande died Nov. 13, 2002 in Casa Grande. The funeral was Wednesday at Whitefield Baptist Church, with burial in Mountain Home Cemetery at Stigler, Okla. Mr. Hodges was born Oct. 20, 1907 in Waynoka, Okla., to James M. and Rosa (Shockley) Hodges. He graduated from Northeastern State University and was a farmer and teacher in Briartown, Okla., before retirement. He also taught at elementary schools in Bonita and Klondyke, Ariz. He was a member of Modern Woodmen of America and Oklahoma Retired Teachers Association. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and teaching children. He lived in Arizona for 2' years. Survivors include two daughters, Yvonne Campbell of Tampa, Fla., and Barbara Cobb of Casa Grande; two sons, Chuck Hodges of Stigler and James Hodges of Quimby, S.C.; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances (Carpenter); a brother, Harold Hodges; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, 2929 E.
