Edward Charles Lynch 81, passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April
18th, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born in St. Marys, PA on
November 15, 1943, son of the late Joseph W. Lynch and Angela M.
(Dieteman) Lynch.

Ed graduated from ECCHS in 1961 and from St. Francis College in 1965. He
was employed by the Joseph W. Lynch Funeral Home in St. Marys PA for a
number of years and was County Commissioner in Elk County, PA, before
entering the real estate business. He then moved to Lake Havasu City,
AZ, where he worked as a salesman, NEMT driver, and had a stint working
for the Havasu Herald newspaper.

He was an avid hunter (particularly with Sister Jacinta of the local
convent) in his early years and enjoyed the Toastmasters Club.

He will be fondly remembered by his friends at Our Lady of the Lake soup
kitchen, the local McDonald’s ‘breakfast club’ and other local shops in
Havasu City where they regularly hung out solving all the world’s
problems!

Ed was known as a true patriot, served as precinct captain, attended
school board meetings, taught literacy at the library, and was a member
of the Postal Commemorative Society dedicated to American heritage
preservation.

He enjoyed researching online and shared good health tips with his
friends while disclosing to no-one his cancer diagnosis in 2008. His
online research helped him to rediscover the precious Traditional
Catholic Faith that was nurtured in his childhood, particularly by his
mother. He faithfully recited the Holy Rosary and attended the
Traditional Latin Mass offered on Sundays by Fr. Courtney E. Krier at
Saint Joseph’s Roman Catholic Mission in Needles, CA. He will be dearly
missed!

He is survived by one brother, Joseph W. Lynch and his wife Alice from
St. Marys and by many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents and grandparents, he is predeceased by his sister
and her husband, Lois and Robert Mallison and a brother George Lynch.

A Mass of Traditional Roman Rite was held in the St. Joseph Roman
Catholic Mission in Needles, CA., with Fr. Courtney Edward Krier
officiating. Burial and final resting place at the family plot in St.
Marys Catholic Cemetery, St. Marys, PA.

Donations are desired and may be sent to the Cancer Society or the
Sacred Heart Church, 337 Center Street, St. Marys, PA, 15857.

Much gratitude goes out to Lindsay Warren/Bradbury Memorial Center and
the Heidi Edwards Cooking for Cancer foundation!

Arrangements were made by Bradbury Memorial Center in Lake Havasu City,
AZ, and by the Lynch Radkowski Funeral Home in St. Marys, PA.
