Funeral Services Held For Fred Green Funeral services were held last Wednesday for Fred Green, 49, 1134 West Apache with Bishop E. Loring officiating. Interment was in Greenwood Memorial Park and Eastlake Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Green died in a local hospital last Saturday following a paralytic stroke five days previous. He was a native of Texas, coming to Arizona from Oklahoma approximately 20 years ago and has lived in Phoenix and Avondale since. Survivors are: one daughter, Mrs. Pearl Lust, Houston, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Essie Winchester, Los Angeles and Mrs. Catherine Hayes, Buffalo, Texas; two brothers, Ben and Frank Green, both of Texas; two nieces, Mrs. Ethel Shaw, Phoenix and Mrs. Eljen Chissum, Paris, California; and two nephews, Riley and L. J. Johnson of Phoenix. Attending from out-of-town were Mr. Ben Green, Mrs. Winchester, Mrs. Chissum and Mrs. Lust. Arizona Sun June 26, 1953 |
