Marjorie "Margie" Myers, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, February 18,
2025, in Pasco, Washington. She was born on July 24, 1938, in Los
Angeles, California, Margie lived a vibrant and unconventional life
marked by independence, humor, and a deep appreciation for the
unexpected joys of everyday moments.

Margie was the daughter of Marjorie West and Walter Coburn. She was the
last of her immediate family line, having been preceded in death by her
father Walter in 1960 in Phoenix and her mother Marjorie in 2003 in Long
Beach. Her beloved husband, Charley Myers, passed away in 2016 in
Arizona. After Charley's passing, Margie relocated to the Tri-Cities
area of Washington to be closer to Charley's children.

Throughout her life, Margie embraced a variety of roles with
characteristic flair. She spent 16 years working in the casino industry-
primarily as a blackjack dealer-where her sharp wit and keen eye no
doubt served her well. Her professional journey also took her to Alaska
where she offered manicures and later brought her back to Pasco where
she worked in the counting room of a local casino.

Margie's personality was as colorful as the stories she loved to tell-
stories that were affectionately described as "summer diamonds": some
are and some aren't. Fiercely independent and delightfully nosy, she had
an insatiable curiosity about the world around her. She found joy in
spontaneous car rides simply to see what was out there and relished any
opportunity for adventure.

Her time living in Elko, Nevada introduced her to roping, a skill she
took up with enthusiasm-and she shared many memorable moments with her
sorrel horse named Two Bits. It was also during this chapter of her life
that she formed a close bond with her friend and partner-in-crime Betty
Bear. Together they embarked on countless road trips across Nevada,
chasing horizons and collecting stories along the way.

Margie had a competitive streak when it came to games-especially
Yahtzee. Known among friends as a "Yahtzee Nazi," she played with
passion and precision, often accompanied by a glass of wine and plenty
of laughter. Though Margie has departed this world, those who knew her
will remember a woman who lived life on her own terms-with grit, humor,
and an unquenchable thirst for exploration. May her memory bring comfort
to all who shared in her journey.

Margie Myers' Celebration of Life will be held at the Moose Lodge in
Pasco, Washington on June 28, 2025.
