REUBAN KING Funeral rites were held last Saturday for Reuban King, 12-year-old son of Elder and Mrs. Major King of Mesa. Rev. A. D. Hutchings officiated at services in the Emmanuel Church of God in Christ. Burial followed in Greenwood Memorial Park. Reuban was a fifth grader at Washington School in Mesa. He was active in the school’s athletic program, and also church work. He was bom in Riverside, California, coming to Arizona with his family in 1952. He died October 14 in a local hospital. In addition to his parents, he is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Ethel Foster, Merced, Calif., Mrs. Lavinia Whitfield and Miss Barbara Mack, both of Blythe, Calif;, Mrs. Faustina Hayes, San Diego, Calif., and Miss Margaret King of Mesa; two brothers, Major and Kenneth King, both of Mesa; and grandmother, Mrs. Lemmie Wilcox, Riverside, California.
