OZNICK, James Taylor James Taylor Oznick, born November 27, 1945, passed away December 16, 2005. Survived by his wife of thirty years Reta Oznick, daughter Lauren Lynn Oznick and husband Jay Muncy, son Justin Coffman and wife LeeAnn, grandsons Dylan and Jason., brothers John and wife Mary Carole, Warner and wife Laurie, nieces and nephews Carole, Shell, Chance, Hailey, Elizabeth and Georgia, predeceased by his brother Steven, father Steven, and mother Ernestine. James graduated Sunset High School in Dallas in 1964 and Southern Methodist University in 1966. James was an entrepreneur owning numerous types of businesses much of his life; and was a successful mortgage lender when he passed away. James had been in recovery for almost 20 years and touched many lives and helped many others reach that same goal. James ran a HNI meeting through EVAC as a volunteer. James fought a hard battle with cancer in a very short time and he was a hero in the eyes of many. A memorial service was held in the gymnasium at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 1035 E. Guadalupe, Tempe (480-839-0906) on Tuesday, December 20, 2005. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the East Valley Men's Center in Mesa.
