Mr. Hyman Rubenstein, 63, president of Hyman Rubenstein Construction Co., died at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Los Angeles March 6. Rabbi Albert Plotkin officiated at funeral and Beth Israel Cemetery burial services last Sunday. Mr. Rubenstein, of 5760 N. Central, was bom in Russia and came to Phoenix from Minneapolis 15years ago. He built a 500-unit housing project at Williams Air Force Base and a 300-unit project at Tucson’s Davis-Monthan AFB in 1951 plus several housing subdivisions in Phoenix. He is survived by his wife, Ida; sons Harry of Phoenix and Dr. Paul Rubenstein of Los Angeles; a daughter, Mrs. John Payne of Phoenix, and a brother, Morris, of Miami, Fla.
