Dickerson Rites Held March 12
Alberta Dickerson of 1001 S. 4th Avenue, passed away on Tuesday, March 6. Born September of
1920 in Waco, Texas Mrs. Dickerson came to Phoenix five years ago from Tulsa, Oklahoma. The
funeral was held on Monday, March 12 at the Church Of the Living God, Elder Otis McAllister
officiating.
Surviving Mrs. Dickerson is her husband, Allen Dickerson, her father, Abram Taylor of Phoenix;
mother, Mrs. Lucille Taylor of Seminole, Oklahoma; three sisters, Mrs. Vivian Cook of Phoenix;
Mrs. Carie Hall of Seminole, Oklahoma; and Mrs. Gladys Shoales of Oakland, California; four
brothers, Lester Taylor and Sam Taylor, Edgar Taylor and J. D. Taylor of Seattle, Washington.
Also surviving are thirteen nieces and three nephews.
Ragsdale Mortuary made all the arrangements.
