Published by Today's News Herald on June 27, @025 - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Robert Casaburi, known to all as Bob, a passionate car enthusiast, reliable family man, and dedicated business owner, passed away on June 20, 2025, three days shy of his 76th birthday. Born on June 23, 1949, in the Queens, New York, he spent his early years there and on Long Island before finding his home in sunny Southern California in 1979, where he lived until 2004 before moving to his ultimate home in Lake Havasu. Bob's love for cars was not just a hobby, but a way of life. He devoted countless hours to fixing cars, racing them, and transformed his passion into a successful business, "Bob’s My Shop" which he established both in La Crescenta, California and in Lake Havasu. Bob was a talented mechanic, who found enjoyment in life through his collected “toys”: motor home, motorcycles, street rod, speed boat, RZR, etc., etc. His skills were only surpassed by his love for family and friends. His dedication to those he cared for were pillars of his character, inspiring us all. He was a proud member of the Elks Lodge, where he made lifelong friendships and contributed significantly to his community. Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Debbie Casaburi, their cherished daughter, T Anna Casaburi, and his brother, Dr. Richard Casaburi. His loss is deeply felt, but his spirit lives on in our hearts. As Maya Angelou beautifully expressed, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel" Bob's memory will always remain a testament to his love, dedication, and the joy he brought into our lives.
