Lake Havasu City, Arizona -

Robert (Bob) Thompson, of Lake Havasu City, went Home to the Lord on
June 27, 2025.

He was born on Feb. 19, 1939, to Andrew and Ruth in Jersey City, N.J.
He attended Cliffside Park High School and went on to graduate from
Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. degree in marketing. In
1970, his education led him to establish his own business, Amsco
Wholesale Supply in Atlanta, GA. After 21 successful years, he sold his
business and retired.

Bob loved listening to all genres of music, watching classic movies,
attending Broadway shows, and cheering on horse races. He was an avid
learner who took great interest in staying informed about world events,
history, and economics. His insight was a constant source of
inspiration to those who knew him. Bob was a member of the Calvary
Baptist Church and Christ's Chapel Bible Study, where he found great
strength and joy in his faith.

Bob and Judy enjoyed traveling between Minnesota and the Jersey Shore in
the summers to spend time with family and friends.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Judy Thompson; sons Jeff
Thompson, Glenn Thompson, daughter Ashley Taylor, brother George
Thompson, niece Kelly Patnaude, stepdaughters Paula Stanaway, Allison
Hubbell and 11 grandchildren.

No memorial service will be held at this time. We find comfort in
knowing he is at peace and in the presence of God.

The family would like to thank Bradbury Memorial Center and The Beacon
of Hope for the exceptional care they provided to our beloved Bob.
