Bradbury Memorial Center - Lake Havasu City, Arizona - Frankie Wedlake, 81, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2025, in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Frankie lived a full and adventurous life filled with love, family, hard work, and unforgettable memories. She is survived by her devoted daughters, Lynda and Tracey, and sons-in- law Jon and George. She was a proud grandmother to Jonathan, Melissa, Kaitlyn, Nick, Ross, Trey, and Hailey; a loving great-grandmother to 12; and was recently blessed with one great-great-grandchild. Her family was her greatest joy, and her influence lives on in every generation. Frankie had a passion for the water and the open road. She loved spending time at the lake, waterskiing and wakeboarding, and she shared that passion with her children and grandchildren. Frankie also had a thrill for the desert and could often be found at Ocotillo Wells, riding dirt bikes and embracing the outdoors with energy and joy. A determined and career-minded woman, Frankie worked hard throughout her life, retiring at the age of 72. After retirement, she fulfilled a dream by relocating to Lake Havasu City, where she spent her later years enjoying the sunshine, the water, and the company of her beloved family and friends. Frankie’s strength, independence, and adventurous spirit touched all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved. |
