Published by Yuma Sun on Jul. 11, 2025 - Yuma, Arizona - Lenora Sue Warner, 62, passed away June 2025 at her Yuma residence. Lenora was born on April 15, 1963, on the Ft. Yuma Reservation to her parents Raelene D. Miguel and Stanley L. Warner. In 1981 she graduated from Intermountain Indian School located in Brigham City, Utah. After returning to the Cocopah Reservation she worked as a Manager at a Gas Station. The Paradise Casino opened in 1996, that is when Sue was employed by the Casino with many roles such as Cage Operation, Slots, Casino Shift Manager, and lastly Revenue. Lenora was a Junior Seau fan, Kiss, Pearl Jam, U2, AC/DC, and majority of the older heavy metal bands. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Lavina Warner and Nellie Miguel; grandfathers, John Kelly Sr. and Jefferson Miguel Jr.; father, Stanley L. Warner; mother, Raelene D. Miguel; sister, Pearl D. Robles; brother, Brian P. Warner; aunts, Lucille Emerson, Virginia Hills, Shirley Kelley, and Joann Kelly; uncles, Wesley Hills, John Kelly, Edwim Kelly, Eugene Kelly, and Gilbert Kelly; cousin, Brandon Nopah. Ms. Warner is survived by her sister, Lisa Thomas; aunts, Marlene Osborne and Cordella Gashwazra; uncle, Mike Miguel; nieces, Cynthia Emerson and Darlene Teton; nephews, Drew Aguilar, Liam Yazzie, and Burns Teton. Sue also leaves behind many, many cousins, uncle, aunts, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces. Services will be held at Yuma Mortuary, 775 S. 5th Avenue, Yuma, AZ 85364 on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Tribal Rites will follow at the Big House starting at 5:00 pm and ending at 5:00 am on Sunday, July 13th 2025 with cremation. Pallbearers will be Anthony Gashwazva, Burns Teton, Cody Jose, Garrison White, Kelvin Owens, Milson Jose Jr., Nolan Tourtillot, Randy Moody, River Montague, Ramiro Marquez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Alton Montague, Amo Pedro, Bruce Montague, Carl Emerson, Chano Escalante, Christable Emerson, Gordon Osbourne, James Emerson, Jarrel Brown Sr., Joseph R.
