Donald Bachmann
August 21, 1950 - June 10, 2025

Don passed away peacefully at Hospice of the Valley in Glendale, Arizona
on June 10, 2025.

He was born in McMinnville, Oregon and graduated from Oregon State
University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. In his
younger years he lived on his sailboat, Windspell, which he sailed to
the Sea of Cortez in Mexico and on to various areas of the South Pacific
before returning to the Seattle area.

Don loved the outdoors and had many adventures hunting and fishing in
Alaska, Canada, Mexico and the Pacific Northwest. He also enjoyed
golfing with his wife, Mary. Fly fishing was a passion and he made it
look effortless. In the last few years he took up rock hounding and
enjoyed exploring the Arizona desert.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Nolan; daughter, Alison
Bachmann; son, Kyle Bachmann (Shenelle and grandchildren Zoren and
Oceana) and step-daughter, Kristin Nolan. He is also survived by his
brother, Randy Bachmann (Mitsuyo); his sister, Shelly Harp (Mikal); and
numerous other family members and friends. He is predeceased by his
father, Alvin Bachmann and mother, June Bachmann. At Don's request there
will be no service.

Our many thanks to Hospice of the Valley for their help and support. We
also want to thank the many friends and neighbors in our community of
Wickenburg Ranch for their love and kindness.

Don, you are loved and will be missed!
