| Published by Mohave Daily News Online from Aug. 1 to Aug. 3, 2025 - Bullhead City, Arizona - Michael Joseph Gutowski, age 75, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Michael's life started in Blauvelt, New York. He dedicated much of his life in service to the Lord, Jesus Christ. In his early years Michael studied theology and lived among the monks in monasteries. Later he volunteered to serve in the U.S Army in Vietnam during the war. After which he got a Bachelors of Arts Degree and was an accomplish musician and writer. Michael was an on and off resident of Bullhead City, Arizona since 1980. He contributed to his church and community, serving in the choir of St. Margaret Mary's Catholic Church. His Father John sang with the New York Metropolitan Opera House, which John's voice was a gift Michael inherited along with his music. Michael shared these talents with students at Mohave High School when he taught music there in the 1980's as well as taking on other jobs in the Tri- State. Michael is preceded in death by his mother, Dixie Gutowski; father, John Gutowski; and his brother, Tony. He is survived by brothers, Jan (Pat), David (Rosemary), Peter (Janet); sisters, Mary and Ramona (Ed); and numerous Nephews and Nieces and their kids. A man with human frailties and prisoner at times in the ways of the world which he is now free. Rest in peace as you are now in the arms of the Lord because you believed. Catholic Mass and Memorial to be announced. |
