Beatrice White Final rites for Mrs. Beatrice White, 1007 South 3rd. Avenue, were held Tuesday morning in Ragsdale Chapel in the Valley. The Rev. C. S. Starks, officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mrs. White came to Phoenix in 1945 from Fulton, Arkansas, where she was born. She died last Thursday. She was a member of Bethel CME church. Survivors are: one daughter, Miss Asilee White, of Phoenix; three sisters, Mrs. Altha Hilll, Mrs. Bennie Johnson, and Mrs. Julia Champion, alii of Phoenix; one grandson: Joe White, serving in the U. S. Army in England; and two nephews. Mitchell Hill and Alphonzo Jefferson, both of Phoenix. Arizona Sun July 17, 1958 |
