| Lula Wells Rites for Mrs. Lula Wells, 50, 363 W. Sherman, were conducted last Saturday in Webber’s Eastlake Chapel by the Rev. L. J. Harper. Burial was in Double Butte Cemetery. Born in Okolona, Ark., Mrs. Wells resided in Phoenix 14 years. She died last Friday in her home. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Ola Mae McClure, Phoenix; son, Jasper Wells Jr., Pasadena, Calif.; two sisters, Minnie Brown of Gurdon, Arkansas, and Euphia Watts of Phoenix; two brothers, John Brown, Gurdon, and Acie Brown, Oakland, Calif.
