| Elmer R. Ragsdale, 83, 2109 South 500 West, Winchester, died Friday at his home. Born on April 13, 1924, in Winkelman, Ariz. to Jones C. and Lona (Claup) Ragsdale, he was married on Feb. 14, 1948, to Billie Ruth Hendrick, who died on Dec. 24, 1988. He was later married on Dec. 14, 2002, to Lynn (Hathaway) Hunt, who survives. A veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War II in Okinawa, Japan, he retired as an engineer in 1987 from San Manuel in Arizona after 37 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Mammoth, Ariz. Surviving besides his wife are a daughter, Brenda Hunt, Louisville, Ky.; a stepdaughter, Jeannie Hunt, Winchester; three stepsons, Dean Hunt, Winchester, Shane Hunt, Killspell, Mont., and Daryle Hunt, Tucson, Ariz.; 11 stepgrandchildren and nine stepgreat-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Mammoth at a later date. Burial will be in Dudleyville Cemetery in Dudleyville, Ariz. |
