Diane LaVone Carr, 61, of Sedona, Arizona passed away on Monday, July 11th. She was born in Pt. Arthur, Texas on August 8, 1943.

She grew up in Texas, attending Franklin Elementary School; Woodrow Wilson Jr. High School, St. James Catholic School all in Pt. Arthur. She also attended Nederland High School in Nederland, Texas and Lamar College Business School in Beaumont, Texas.

Mrs. Carr had worked aa a laboratory Technician for the Mobil Oil Refinery in Pt. Arthur and she had operated a gun shop with her husband in Nederland, Texas.

She attended the Baptist Church in Beaumont, Texas. Mrs. Carr enjoyed reading, gun and knife collecting and she also collected crystal animal figurines.

Mrs. Carr is survived by a son Van and Melissa Richardson, Iowa Park, Tx.; a brother, Richard Harrison Couch, II, Tx.; sister, Sandra D. Spenrath of Sedona, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Glenn Carr.

There are no public services planned, memorial donations may be sent to the Diabetes Association or to Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S. Candy Lane, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.
