Charles Anthony “Chuck” Fonze, 76, passed away on August 6th, in Lake
Havasu City, Arizona, from complications related to cancer.

Born on March 27, 1949, in Riverside, California, Chuck was the son of
Georgia I. Medley (Tripp) and Anthony S. Fonze. He attended Ramona High
School before proudly serving in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as
a member of the 720th Military Police Battalion, Company B
“Bushwackers.” For his exceptional valor, he was awarded the Bronze
Star.

Following his military service, Chuck worked in the mobile home industry
and later owned and operated his own home repair business.

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Don Medley, and
sister Marsha Fonze Ivie. Chuck is survived by his former wife, Linda E.
Fonze of Riverside, CA; their son, Todd C. Fonze of Fair Oaks, CA; and
his beloved granddaughters, Lily M. Fonze and Charlotte A. English. He

Chuck was more than a devoted father, brother, uncle, and friend—he was
a man who embraced life fully. He enjoyed boating, bowling, playing
pool, golfing, and never missed a chance to season a meal with his
favorite garlic salt. Above all, he cherished his granddaughters and
took great pride in watching them grow into the remarkable young women
they are becoming.

A Celebration of Life honoring Chuck will be announced at a later date.
