Funeral Services Held For Mrs. McCloud Funeral services were held for Mrs. Maud McCloud of 1415 East Madison Street at the Chapel in the Valley, last Saturday with the Rev. Mickens officiating. Mrs. McCloud was stricken at her home on July 19, of acute heart attack and died a few hours later. She came to Phoenix from Houston, Texas in 1918 and has lived here since. Mrs. McCloud was a member of Grand Canyon Temple of Daughter Elks and also a member of the Tilden White Post of the American Legion Auxiliary. The funeral services were conducted by Daughter Elks, assisted by the Legion Auxiliary. Survivors are: one son, one daughter, three brothers and two sisters. One sister, Mrs. Theresa Stewart and a brother, Alvin McCloud, reside in Phoenix. Arizona Sun July 28, 1950 |
