PHILLIPS FUNERAL SATURDAY HOWARD O. PHILLIPS Howard O. Phillips, 65, brother of Dr. Robert B. Phillips, 4417 South 19th Street, died last Sunday at a local hospital. At the time of his death, he resided with his brother. A native of Marshall, Texas, he later moved to ESI Paso, Tex., where he was employed by the Pullman Company for 39 years. Ten years ago he retired and went to Los Angeles to live. Mr. Phillips was given a certificate of splendid service rendered by the Pullman Company. He moved to Phoenix in 1952, changed his church membership from his home Church in Marshall, which had been the family church for three generations to First Institutional here. Mr. Phillips had been in ill health for several years. In addition to Dr. Phillips, he is survived by two stepdaughters, Mrs. Munwella Tribbles and Mrs. Antonia Nunez, both of Los Angeles; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Verdugo and Mrs. Estelle Emory, both of Phoenix, and Mrs. A. B. Madison of Marshall, seven nephews and 5 nieces. Funeral services completed by Ragsdale Mortuary will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 at First Institutional Baptist Church. The Rev. A. G.
