Phoenix Old Timer Succumbs to ‘Stroke’ Nathan Kelley, 78 years old, died at his home, 1441 So. 15th Ave., of a paralytic stroke, last Saturday. Mr. Kelley came to Phoenix from Mississippi 40 years ago and has lived here ever since. He was a plasterer by trade. His wife passed about a year ago; he was living alone at the time of his death. He leaves no known relatives. Funeral services were held at the C. M. E. Church pn 13th Ave. Rev. Thompson officiated. East Lake Mortuary in charge. Arizona Sun October 24, 1947 |
