Russell Mortensen, a loving, adventurous, and loyal husband, father, and
friend, slipped from this earthly plane on September 5, 2025, at the
bright age of 71.

He was a beacon of love and light to his wife Sandra, his sister Jayne,
his stepdaughter Kimberly, his daughter Ashley, and his ten grand and
great-grandchildren, who are all left to cherish his memory.

Russell's adventurous spirit found joy in the thrill of motorcycle
racing and the serenity of boating, passions he approached with the same
dedication and fervor he gave to his family. His unfailing loyalty and
love for his family were the cornerstones of his life, and his heartfelt
compassion and unwavering integrity are the legacy he leaves behind.

As Helen Keller once said, "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose.
All that we love deeply becomes a part of us." This quote encapsulates
the impact Russell had on his loved ones. His spirit will live on in
their hearts and memories. We encourage those who knew and loved Russell
to share their memories and upload photos on Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home
website.
