| Services for Leroy H. Shackelford, 74, of Superior, were held Friday, Aug. 30, at the Mountain View Mortuary Chapel in Mesa. He died Aug. 24, 2002, in Gilbert. Mr. Shackelford, a machinist, was born in Abilene, Texas, on Nov. 18, 1927. Survivors include his wife, Arlene; daughters, Vickie of Scottsdale and Cheryl Lender of California; a son, John of Superior; sisters, Lucille of Arizona and Nelda and Raydeen, both of California; brothers, David of Phoenix and Charles and Troy, both of California; and a grandson, Brandon Aldrete. Mr. Shackelford was interred at the Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mesa. Mountain View Mortuary handled the arrangements. Published 09/03/02 Superior Sun |
