| Death of Albert Greer Albert H. Greer, who came here from Phoenix last July and opened the American Laundry, died last Sunday morning at 7 o'clock, after an illness of about three weeks of pneumonia and quick consumption. Deceased had no relatives except his wife and step-son, A. T. Hodges, who were constantly with him during his illness. He was an enterprising citizen and made many friends by his careful attention to business and accommodating methods. Under his management the American Laundry thrived and prospered. Albert H. Greer was born at Beatrice, Nebr., August 12, 1882. A few years ago he located in Phoenix, where he was married on January 12, 1910. His wife and her son will continue in charge of the laundry business which he established in Flagstaff. Mr. Greer was a member of the Odd Fellows' lodge of Orchards, Wash. The Flagstaff order of Odd Fellows took charge of his funeral, which occurred at the Methodist Episcopal church on Thursday afternoon, Rev. Clyde P. Metcalf officiating. Interment was made in the Odd Fellows, cemetery. The Coconino Sun January 27, 1911 |
