Edith Isabelle (Stanley) Henley

Edith Isabelle Henley, 92, passed away on February 17, 2008 with her family by her side. She was born on October 9, 1915 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Filbert and Myrtle Stanley.

She has lived in Phoenix for over 60 years. She was a homemaker and loving wife and mother. She is preceded in death by her husband Hugh Henley (1997).

She is survived by her daughters; Carole Henley-Fish and her husband Norris and Linda Henley-Smith and her husband Kit and son Robert Henley and his wife Marilynn, 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

A Celebration of her life was held on Saturday March 1, 2008 at Fellowship Square Retirement Center, 2002 W. Sunnyside Drive, Phoenix, AZ. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley 1510 E. Flower St. Phx, 85014. She was a wonderful source of God's light on this earth and will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. Arrangements by Hansen Mortuary.
