James R. Watson, 74, graduated to glory on October 28, 2025. Born in
Logan, Utah, to James Austin and Mary (Skehan) Watson, Jim made Yuma,
Arizona his home since 1952.

As a Kofa High School and Arizona Western College graduate, he enjoyed a
43-year career with Arizona Public Service retiring as a Load Management
Specialist in 2014.

A Hall of Famer in the Yuma softball community and avid Over-the-Line
player, Jim traveled often for national, regional, and world
tournaments. When travel turned to leisure, he and Jacque enjoyed RV
vacations in Arizona and California and visiting National Parks with
family. Jim spent his retirement years surrounded by family and friends
and enjoying pickleball and shuffleboard.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Jacque; children, James
(Caitlin), Kara (Andrew) MacHugh, and Lindsay (Chris) Kelly;
grandchildren, Jenah, Jaxon, Jillian, and Juliet MacHugh; eight
siblings: Kerry Anderson, Cathe Lyons, Steve Watson, Mike Watson, JA
Watson, Teresa Minatogawa, Missie Gee, Margo DeWitt and their families;
along with many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on November 24, 2025 at St.
John Neumann in Yuma.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Family Heart Foundation
or a charity of your choice.
