| CHUCKER KUHN, LITCHFIELD POSTMASTER, DIES Edward Henry (Chucker) Kuhn who had served as postmaster for Litchfield Park during the past five years died suddenly at his home northeast of Litchfield Wednesday afternoon. Mr. Kuhn, 53 years old, came to the valley in 1940 from Akron. He was employed by the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., and during the war he worked at the aircraft plant. Active in civic affairs, he was a member of the Litchfield Park Kiwanis Club. He was a veteran of World War I. He is survived by his wife Carol T.; two daughters, Mrs. George Lauman, now in Japan with her husband, Mrs. Robert Davenport, Litchfield; three sisters, Mrs. Al Weibelt and Mrs. Nina Bell, San Angelo, Tex., and Mrs. H. H. Ferguson, Akron; two brothers, John A. Kuhn, Salsbury, Md., and Gus C. Kuhn, Kingbridge, O. Westside Enterprise Tolleson, AZ March 17, 1950 |
