| Sam Kuykendall Funeral services for Sam Kuykendall, 66, of 2344 W. Jefferson, will be held at 2 p.m. Feb. 22 at the Ragsdale Mortuary chapel, 1100 E. Jefferson. The Rev. Charles Harlins will officiate. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mr. Kuykendall died at his home Thursday. He was born in Eagle Lake, Texas and went to San Antonio as a young man. He went to Detroit in 1942 and worked on a private riding estate until retiring and coming to Phoenix in 1956. He was an active member of Wesley Methodist Church here. Surviving are his wife, Louise Kuykendall, of Phoenix; three sons, Edward, of Phoenix; Sam, of Detroit; and William, of Oxford, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Lillian Brown, of Phoenix; and Mrs. Frances Rembert, Mrs. Louise Council, and Mrs. Pauline Wimbush, all of Detroit a sister, six brothers and seven grandchildren.
