| Rites Held Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Isabell Harris, 64, long time resident of Arizona who died last week, were held Dec. 10 in the Tanner Chapel AME Church, 20 So. Eighth St., Webber’s Eastlake Mortuary announced. Rev. C.K. Hayes and Grand Canyon Temple 435, Daughter Elks officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Harris, who came to Arizona in 1919, lived in Mesa from 1923 until 1937, when she came to Phoenix. She resided at 1745 E. Madison, and was a member of the Daughter Elks and Tanner Chapel. Survivors are her husband, Andrew Harris; a son, Olen Mackey, Phoenix;, and two grandchildren. Arizona Tribune December 11, 1959 |
