| Hester Lois Levy, known to everyone as "Lois" or "Gramas," died Friday, June 19, 2009, at the age of 91. She was born Hester Lois Morphew on Feb. 5, 1918, in Langley, Ark. She came to Kingman in 1936. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband of 56 years, Donnie Levy in November 2003; her parents, Albert Jayhugh and Rosa Lee Morphew; her brother, Noel Morphew of Glenwood, Ark.; sisters, Eva Lee Dollarhide and Charlene Morphew of Kingman, Margie Smith of Antlers, Okla., and Rene Thompson of Hot Springs, Ark.; and grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Tim and Kim Hett. She is survived by her daughters, Jerry Parker of Kingman and Elta Lou "Brig" (Paul) Hett of Stanfield, Ariz.; brother and sister-in-law, Albert and Bobbi Jane Morphew of Kingman; grandsons, David Hett of Roswell, N.M., Arny Hett of Stanfield, Dan (Bunnie) Weaver of Kingman (currently residing in Flint, Mich.), Chris (Carol) Weaver of Kingman; granddaughter, Debbie Weaver-Chilcoat of Kingman; 15 great-grandchidlren, Alissa, Stacy, Brad, Chad, Valerie, Derek, D.J., Sam, Josh, Jamie, J.T., Michael, Tina, Katie and Tazanna; 14 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Lois was known throughout the community, alongside her husband Donnie, as local business owners of Levy Trucking, their home-based business since 1947. She was, and will always be, loved dearly by her massive amounts of family and friends. She will be dearly missed. Memorial service was on Monday, June 29, at Sutton Memorial Funeral Home, 1701 Sycamore Ave., followed by a burial service at Mountain View Cemetery, 1301 Stockton Hill Road.
