| The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Thursday, July 02, 2009 Jeremy Dean Szweda of Prescott Valley, Ariz., beloved son, brother and friend, was taken home to his Heavenly Father Saturday, June 27, 2009, at the age of 25. Jeremy was born June 22, 1984, in Reno, Nev. He grew up in Dewey, Ariz., and graduated from Bradshaw Mountain High School in the class of 2003. He enlisted in the Marine Corps following high school and served five years in active duty, two tours of which were in Iraq, serving in the rank of sergeant. Jeremy loved hunting, fishing and camping with friends and family. He loved working beside his father in the construction field. Jeremy was a wonderful friend, a great example and an inspiration to all who knew him, and he will be greatly missed. His memory will live on in our hearts forever. Jeremy is survived by his parents, Larry and Cindy Szweda; sisters December, Sara and Rebekah; brother Josiah; grandmother Connie Schur and grandparents Russell and Carol Smith; a nephew and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeremy is preceded in death by grandparents Frank and Maxine Szweda. Jeremy's funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday, July 3, 2009, at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley. Interment will be at the V.A. National Cemetery in Cave Creek, Ariz. |
