The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, June 23, 2009 James Neil Enabnit was born on March 3, 1953, to USN Lt. Cdr. Harry William Enabnit (Ret.) and Ruth Wanda (Wells) Enabnit at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Oakland, Calif., and he died peacefully on May 11, 2009, in Tucson, Ariz. Neil was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his three sons, John Eugene, James Jesse and Poleman Jacob, all of Tucson; and three sisters, Jean Enabnit, Maida Enabnit and Shelia (Enabnit) Jarrell. Neil graduated from high school at the Grand Canyon, Ariz., and he subsequently served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years. He returned to Arizona to work for the University of Arizona, using his radio operator specials skills to support the university's early distance learning systems. Neil was an avid reader and conversationalist and he loved to fish. He will be greatly missed by his family. Neil will be interred at Sanger Cemetery in Washburn, N.D.
