The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Tuesday, June 23, 2009 Eugene "Pete" L. Pike, 80, of Prescott Valley, retired U.S. Customs/Border Enforcement, died June 21, 2009. He was born in Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Gerry. Pete is survive by his wife of 12 years, Patricia; children Carla Cordova, Tom (Mary), Steve (Patty) and Leslie (John) Bever; grandchildren Kelsey Cordova, Sarah Pike, Rucker and Skyler Pike, Cody, Samantha and Delaney Bever; and stepchildren Laura, George, Norm, Linda, Brian and Steve Wernimont and families. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009, at Sunrise Funeral Home in Prescott Valley with a Rosary recited at 6 p.m. Mass will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 25, at St. Germaine Catholic Church in Prescott Valley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society of Prescott Valley, P.O. Box 26228, Prescott Valley, AZ 86312, a charity Pete dedicated over 35 years of his life to.
