Camp Verde Bugle, Camp Verde, Arizona Wednesday, July 01, 2009 Philip H. Rajca, 64, of Cornville, AZ and formerly of Libertyville, IL passed away suddenly, Tuesday June 23 in a small aircraft accident near Cottonwood. He was born February 3, 1945 in Chicago. He had lived in Libertyville for 25 years, before moving to Arizona in 2006. He was a former member of St. Joseph Parish in Libertyville and enjoyed golfing and flying. Surviving are three children: Diane Bierman of Chicago, Jennifer (Trevor) Mooney of Dunlap, IL, and Dr. Brian (Amy) Rajca of Gainesville, FL; loving companion, Virginia (Ginny) Snyder of Cottonwood, 2 grandchildren: Ella and Jack Mooney, his mother June Rajca of Highwood and former wife and dear friend, Susan Rajca of Tucson, AZ. He was preceded in death by his father Harry Rajca. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2 at the Burnett-Dane Funeral Home, 120 W. Park Ave. (Rte. 176) in Libertyville with the Rev. Fr. Val Laini officiating. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. A celebration of life will be held at the Harding home, 810 Organ Pipe in Cottonwood on Saturday July 11 from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to the Leukemia Research Foundation. 847-362-3009 Information provided by survivors. |
