Eleanor (Madison) Davis - Hensolt

Eleanor Madison Hensolt, 94, of Lake Montezuma, passed away peacefully on June 20. She was born Nov. 12, 1914, in Phoenix and grew up there playing golf with brothers, Les, Frank and Gray Madison.

She taught in Kiva and Cottonwood elementary schools. Eleanor married Allen Davis, an executive with General Electric and a golfer. After his death, Eleanor married Fred Hensolt, another golfer, an executive with Bell Telephone.

Eleanor loved Lake Montezuma, the Beaver Creek Golf Course, the Montezuma Chapel and playing golf with her many friends.

She is survived by her son, A. Charles Davis of Mesa and many nieces and nephews.
