Bonnie M. Hyam Born in Los Angeles, California on Nov. 24, 1924. Departed on Feb. 10, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Bonnie McJohnstone Hyam, 79, of Cottonwood died February 10. She was born November 24, 1924 in Los Angeles, California. She was retired school psychologist in the Los Angeles Unified School District. She previously was an educator from kindergatern to sixth grade. Mrs. Hyam received her Masters Degree in education from the University of Southern California. She is a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, America Association of University Women and Emmanuel Fellowship of Cottonwood. Mrs. Hyam also enjoyed water color painting and jewelry making. She was an exemplary and accomplished educator, a wonderful mother and friend. A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 21 at Emmanuel Fellowship at 1:30 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Verde Valley Humane Society, P O Box 1429, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.
