Townsend Victor Dodd Born in Bardley, Missouri on Dec. 25, 1925. Departed on Feb. 3, 2004 and resided in Camp Verde, Arizona. Townsend V. Dodd, 78, of Camp Verde, formerly of Flagstaff, died February 3 after battling Alzheimer's Disease. He was born December 25, 1925 in Bardley, Missouri. He married Bonnie Whitwell in 1949. Townsend moved his family from Missouri to Flagstaff in 1966 where he operated an electrical contracting business for many years. He loved horses, dogs, hunting, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Bonnie; son, Kenneth, Ann Dodd; daughters, Janet and Eric Sorenson, all of Flagstaff and Nancy and Brad Hoffman, Ortney, Wash.; two brothers, Lonnie Dodd, Calif. and Bill Dodd, Idaho; three sisters, Wilda Hill, Wanda Jayo and Bonnie Sherfield of Nev.; also six grandsons, Chris, Brad and Matthew Sorenson and Cody, Jake and Wyatt Hoffman; two grandaughters, Amber Hopkins and Ryleigh Hoffman. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7 in the Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. 4th St., Flagstaff at 2:00 p.m. Donations in his memory may be made to the Northern Arizona Alzheimers Association, 225 Grove Ave., Prescott, Ariz., 86301.
