Frank D. Higginbotham Born in Mesa, Arizona on Sept. 30, 1930 Departed on Jan. 26, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Longtime Cottonwood resident Frank Donald Higginbotham died January 26. He was 83 years old. Mr. Higginbotham was born September 30, 1920 in Mesa, Arizona. An Army Air Corp veteran, he served during World War II. He later served as a Captain in the Phoenix Fire Department. Mr. Higginbotham is survivied by his wife, Mary Louise Higginbotham; daughter, Carol Louise Higginbotham Campbell; sons, Edward Donald Higginbotham, wife Charlene, Elbert Donald Higginbotham, wife Becky, and Robert Edwin Higginbotham, wife Melissa; sister, Ruth Dammann; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services for Mr. Higginbotham will take place Friday, January 30 in the Emmanuel Fellowship Church in Cottonwood at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Northern Arizona Hospice, 269 S.
