Norman R. Schrader Born in Roberts County, South Dakota on Feb. 18, 1923. Departed on May 21, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Norman R. Schrader, 81, of Cottonwood died May 21. He was born Fenruary 18, 1923 in Roberts County, South Dakota. He was a graduate of Browns Valley High School of Browns Valley, Minnesota. He was a retired owner and operator of a treanching business. Mr. Schrader was previously a farmer in South Dakota. He enjoyed gardening and his grandchildren. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He leaves his wife of 55 years, Darlene Schrader; a daughter, Linda and Patrick Thornburg, Cornville; brothers, Winford Schrader, No. Highlands, Calif. and Willard Schrader, Palm Desert, Calif.; sisters, Evelyn Simon, Sisseton, S.D. and Fern Doschadis, Wilmot, S.D.; four grandchildren, Danny, Chad, Chris and Kimberly; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Thornburg and Malia Thornburg. A son, Larry, preceded him in death. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 25 in the Faith Lutheran Church. Donations in his memory may be held to the Faith Lutheran Church, 2021 E. Fir St., Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326. Westcott Funeral Home handled these arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
