Goebel Jesse Bromback, 79, of Cottonwood died May 19. He was born December 7, 1924 in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a graduate of Louisville High School. He worked as an electrician for Local 58 in Detroit, Michigan and retired from a local International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Arizona. Years ago he worked in Santa Monica, California in his furniture store. He was known locally from Gleah's Indian Jewelry in Old Town that he owned with his wife.

Mr. Bromback was a member of the VFW and the American Legion and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He leaves his wife of 27 years, Gleah Bromback; two step-daughters Karen Panella, Cottonwood and Katherine Devore of Redmond, Or.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 25 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 1 to 2 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. Military honors will be offered by VFW Post #7400.
