| Floyd B. Kracht Born in Fairfield, Iowa on Oct. 29, 1912. Departed on May 15, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Floyd B. Kracht, 91, of Cottonwood died May 15. He was born October 29, 1912 in Fairfield, Iowa. He was a graduate of Fairfield High School and worked as a machinist at the Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, Illinois. He went on to work for Lockheed Aircraft Services in Onatrio, California. He was a member of the International Asociation of Machinists. He was a member of the Verde Baptist Church and has served as Deacon and Elder in churches he had previously been a member of. Mr. Kracht enjoyed reading, jewelry making, ceramics and carpentry. He leaves his wife of 68 years, Musetta L. Kracht; son, John F. Kracht, Rimrock; daughter Jane F. Hurst, Clarkdale; one niece and two great-nieces and one grandnephew and a great-grandniece. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 19 in the Verde Baptist Church from 10-11 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11AM. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
