Boyd Eugene Rose Born in Duke, Oklahoma on Nov. 9, 1916. Departed on April 29, 2004 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Boyd E. Rose, 87, of Camp Verde, Arizona passed away on Thursday, April 29th. He was born in Duke, Oklahoma on November 9, 1916. Boyd was the fifth child in a family of 10 boys and five girls. Mr. Rose retired from the Southern Pacific Railroad in 1972. Previously he had lived and worked in Hemet, California, leaving in 1941 to work on the railroad. Mr. Rose was a member of the Verde Valley Church of Christ. In the past he had served as a church elder at the York Blvd Church of Christ in Louisiana and at the Hemet Church of Christ. Mr. Rose is survived by his wife Helen of 68 years, sons: Boyd Wayne Rose, Walnut Creek, Calif.; Eddie M. Rose, Camp Verde, Ariz.; Robert Gerald Rose, Northridge, Calif; daughter, Ann Madrigals, Salinas, Ca;of/; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mr. Rose will include an evening of visitation Monday, May 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and a chapel service Tuesday, May 4th at 11:00 a.m. at the Westcott Funeral Home 1013 E. Mingus Avenue Cottonwood, Arizona. Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery, Clarkdale, Az. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
