| Delbert F. Coon Born in Clarkdale, Arizona on Oct. 4, 1928. Departed on June 14, 2006 and resided in Verde Valley, Arizona. Dale loved horseback riding with his friends Delbert “Dale” F. Coon, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2006, at home with his family by his side. Dale was a native of the Verde Valley. He was born at the Coon Ranch on Sycamore Road in Clarkdale. He was the youngest child of Elbert and Mercy Ellen (Hodgson) Coon. Dale is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sybil Coon; sons, Jeremiah Coon, Sedona, Dennis Coon, Cottonwood; daughter, Brenda and Donald Davidson, Cottonwood; grandsons, Shane Davidson, Cottonwood, Caleb Coon and Jared Coon both of Scottsdale; sister, Elberta and husband Lee Hulsey, Camp Verde. Dale is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews; as well as, many dear friends. Mr. Coon was a welder repairman at the cement plant for several years. He loved horseback riding with his friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood.
