Pat grew up in Trenton, Texas, where she attended the local grade school and high school. Following high school, Pat attended a Business College in Forth Worth. After which, she obtained her first position as a secretary at Jones Field in Bonham, Texas.

Pat then found secretarial work at Randolph Field in San Antonio, Texas. It was here, she met the man who would be the love of her life; Relf "Bob" Fenley. They married in 1946.

Pat loved being a wife, and she cherished her greatest role in life as a mother.

It was in 1983 that Bob passed away. Pat remained in the Fort Worth area until 1995, when she relocated to Flagstaff, Arizona to be near her daughter. 2003 brought about her final move to Cottonwood, where she made her final home.

During her time spent in Flagstaff, Pat attended the Flagstaff Christian Fellowship Church, and she attended the First Southern Baptist Church while residing in Cottonwood.

Until recent injuries, Pat loved golfing and bowling. She also enjoyed playing bridge. Pat loved nothing more than visiting with others, and she was well-known for the cheerful, vivid colors she always wore.

She held within her a heart of compassion; she was always supportive of her family and friends, she provided endless amounts of love and soft encouragement. It has been stated by many that it is her beautiful smile that will be missed the most.
