Born in New York, New York on April 14, 1923.

Albert T. Sabin, 79, of Clarkdale, died July 29. He was born April 14, 1923 in New York City.

Mr. Sabin was employed by CBS, Inc. first in radio then in television for a total of 46 years. He worked in the management of Broadcast Services and as a supervisor in Technical services. He was based in New York, but traveled with political conventions, olympics and world shaping events. He worked with the pioneers of broadcast news and entertainment.

Always active in community affairs, Mr. Sabin was currently serving as the Executive Director of the Central Arizona Food Bank.
Among his many other community services include the Knights of Columbus, the Verde Valley Rotary Club the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the Boy Scouts of America, the United Way, YES the ARC and the Old Town Association. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church.

He is survivied by his loving wife Mae Sabin; children, Robert Sabin, Karen Sabin, Kathleen Williamson, Claire Jinks, Donna Berman, and Patricia Williamson-Lundon; daughters-in-law and sons-in-law, George Jinks, Lisa Otey, Tom Lundon and Mark Berman; brother Tom Sabatino; sister, Helen Esposito; six grandchildren and many adoring nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Sabin.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday. August 10 in St. Ann's Catholic Church in Staten Island, New York at 9:30 a.m.

Donations in his memory may be made to any of the organizations in which he was active.
