Leonard Ivan Chastain Born in Gracemont, Oklahoma on Dec. 2, 1929 Departed on Jul. 24, 2002 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ. Leonard Ivan Chastain, 72, of Cottonwood, Arizona died on Wednesday, July 24, 2002. He was born in Gracemont, Oklahoma on December 2, 1929. He was a veteran Of World War II having served in the United States Army. He worked for Greyhound as a bus driver until his retirement. Mr. Chastain was a member of the Westcroft Baptist Church and he also attended the the First Southern Baptist Church in Cottonwood. He is survived by his wife Melva Chastain, Cottonwood; daughter: Vicki Chastain; son David Chastain both of Phoenix; sisters Belva Shook, Gracemont, Ok.; Wilma Jean Milan, Oklahoma City, Ok.; brother, Ernest Chastain, Van Nuys, Calif.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26th at the First Southern Baptist Church 1020 Camino Real Cottonwood at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place on Monday, July 29th at Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
