James Vincent Steidl Born in Cashton, Wisconsin on Dec. 20, 1928. Departed on Dec. 24, 2005 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. James Vincent Steidl, 77, of Cottonwood died December 24. He was born December 20, 1928 in Cashton, Wisconsin. He worked through and was a member of Teamsters Local #38. A veteran of the Army, he served during the time of the Korean War. He was a member of VFW Post #7400 and American Post #25, and the Loyal Order of the Moose #1449. Mr. Steidl was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Steidl, a son Vincent Steidl and a brother Joe Steidl. He is survived by son, Kenneth, wife, Roberta Steidl; daughter, Nancy, Kenneth McAnally, all of Cottonwood and a daughter-in-law, Joy Steidl; brother, Jerry Steidl, Waukesha, Ill.; sisters, Betty Adler, Fort Adkinson, Wisc., Marilyn, husband, William Longfield, Phillips, Wisc.; sisters-in-law, Brydene Baker, Monticello, Wisc., Lorraine Baker, St. Charles, Iowa and Audrey Steidl, Wilton, Wisc.; five grandchildren, James McAnally, Kendra McAnally, Melissa Steidl, Sarah, husband Corey Felix and Angel Mundine Steidl. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 30 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 12 noon to 1 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Cottonwood Cemetery. VFW Post #7400 will provide military honors. Donations in his memory may be made to VFW Post #7400 Honor Squad, P O Box 689, Cottonwood, Ariz., 86326.
